The General Council of Economists

The General Council of Economists of Spain is a public corporation, with legal personality and full capacity to fulfil its purposes. Is governed by the Vocational Colleges (Law 2/1974, of 13 february, Professional Associations, as amended by act 74/1978 of 26 december, by law 7/1997, of 14 april and for the royal decree Law 6/2000 of 23 june) and by their own charters (Royal Decree 900/2017 of 6 october, which adopted the statutes of the General council of Economists of Spain). The General Council of Economists of Spain is the umbrella corporation, coordinates and represents at the state, european and international levels to schools and, through these, lawyers, accountants, and organizes, supports and protects the exercise of professional accountants, and also protect the interests of consumers and users of services provided by its members.
